Todo estuvo muy bien, llego buena cantidad de gente y se paso excelente. Genial platicar de nuevo con Grant, LeRe, Tom, Mescalito y otro poco. Junior y Virtual calentaron bien los motores y la sorpresa de la noche fue que el Seixy se tiro solo a pista y la guerra de las galaxias comenzo...lasers por todos lados, demencia total, lineas de bajo profundas con ametralladora incluida. En fin, el Seixy se tiro un set de night trance como lo esperabamos y nos tenia como conejos en acido!

Muy buen arranque para Loops y espero que esta no sea la ultima

Not to bash Xomich, since the audience seemed to really like it and it's a DJ's job to please the crowd. But if you want 160BPM, why not play/listen music that was meant to be like that (hardcore, gabber,whatever) instead of totally waisting tracks that were composed at 140-145 BPM? Again: not to bash anyone, just a question!

My dear friend, I was using tracks that are 149 bpms, and I was actually mixing -1.4, -2.1 and there were some that were -3.5, so... basically I had to slow down ALL the tracks, not some but ALL

Dunno... perhaps you don't know the tracks I was playing? most of the stuff I'm playing lately doesn't go slower than 147.

Where did you get the idea that the tracks were composed at 145?

By the way, I never played at 160.

Thanks for your explanation Xomich. Indeed I didn't recognize most of the tracks, though (I thought) I recognized some and thought they were played faster than normal. Maybe it were samples from tracks that I do know, maybe it was me, or it was like I thought. Who will tell... The 160 BPM was a wild guess, I didn't count or something. To me, it sounded like it.

Like I said, I was not trying to bash anyone, there was nu pun intended. Just my opinion. So... NO NEED TO YELL. I CAN HEAR YOU.

yo no lo vi k iba tan rapido, de hecho los ultimos tracks del set mio iban muy despacio, como a -3.9 o algo asi, de hecho tuve k subirlo un poco mas, y no creo k Xomich lo haya subido mucho

take a look you have a kick 4/4 @ 145 bpm
but the bassline goes under 4/16 @ 145 bpm

so every kick you lisen 4 bass hits

so the tracks looks like it is faster than really is
